The Civil Guard has arrested two young men as alleged perpetrators of four crimes of robbery with force in different apartments of a tourist complex in Costa Teguise. The arrested,D.B.W. and A.C.A., are 27 and 28 years old respectively and are of Spanish nationality and residents of Tías.
The events occurred on July 29, when the Civil Guard officerswere notified by personnel of the tourist establishment of the alleged commission of several robberies that were being committed at that time in several apartments.
The Civil Guard, after collecting a series of data about the alleged perpetrators of the robberies, proceeded to search for them in the surroundings, being located and arrested after fleeing from the presence of the agents.
The alleged perpetrators were carrying, at the time of their arrest, two smartphone-type mobile phones, two wallets, both with documentation and with 452.52 and 40 euros in cash, as well as a cap, a watch, a gold chain and a silver ring.
The Civil Guard has recovered all the stolen objects, which were valued at at least 600 euros, being delivered to their legitimate owners. The detainees were placed at the disposal of the corresponding Duty Court of Arrecife.
