The Civil Guard arrested a 69-year-old man as the alleged perpetrator of the stabbing of a man in Playa Blanca. The events occurred on Tuesday afternoon, around 8:00 p.m. in a fight on El Correíllo street, on the terrace of the Kaos bar, according to CECOES.
The victim, 40 years old, received several stab wounds, injuries that caused his death instantly. According to some residents of the area, the fight was because the victim allegedly stole a mobile phone. Shortly after the attack, Civil Guard officers, with the collaboration of the Local Police, arrested the alleged perpetrator in the vicinity of the street.
The staff of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) went to the scene to assist the injured man, but upon arrival they could only confirm his death. In addition, the firefighters of the Security and Emergency Consortium collaborated with the Local Police of Yaiza to illuminate the area after the arrival of the judge and the forensic doctor and protect it from onlookers with two tarpaulins, and also with the removal and transfer of the corpse with the collaboration of Judicial Transfers.
After all this, the firefighters cleaned the blood stains from the road, reports the Emergency Consortium.
