The Civil Guard unit has arrested a 34-year-old man, a native of Italy, who responds to the initials F.S. for an alleged Crime Against Public Health, when he was on citizen security service in a residential area of Faro de Pechiguera, in the town of Playa Blanca.
During the service, the agents observed that in the outer garden of a building in the area "there was a plantation presumably of marijuana hidden among other plantations", report sources from the meritorious. For such events and "given that the production or cultivation of narcotic substances is typified in the penal code, investigations were carried out to locate the owner of the property", and once located, the inspection of the crop was carried out, resulting in "the intervention of 7 pots presumably of marijuana".
The detainee, together with the proceedings and the substance seized, were placed at the disposal of the Arrecife Investigating Court.
