A 40-year-old Spanish man has been arrested up to three times this month by the Civil Guard, accused of up to 7 different robberies in Costa Teguise apartments. In one of the cases, D.E.A.M. even threatened the officers with a kitchen knife, "being finally reduced and arrested."
The first arrest occurred on December 2, when he was "surprised inside a home" by the owners of the house, who notified the Civil Guard. It was on that occasion when he "resisted" to try to prevent his arrest. Finally, after being arrested and brought to justice, he was released with charges pending trial.
Twelve days after that robbery, D.E.A.M. was arrested again by agents of the Costa Teguise Investigation Area, as the alleged perpetrator of 5 crimes of robbery with force in different apartments, which occurred on the weekend of December 10 and 11. After this second arrest, which took place on the 14th, the agents managed to recover several stolen items such as an Xbox video console, games, a mini computer, a Pioneer DVD player, a Berg backpack and an Internet converter.
After being brought to justice, the detainee was released again with charges, but was arrested again only a few days later, on December 21. On this occasion, according to the Civil Guard, he entered the apartment of a hotel employee, "stealing various items, of which several items of clothing, computer equipment, etc. were recovered."
In total, he is charged with seven crimes against property and has open proceedings in three different courts for these events, which are added to the "numerous police records" he already had behind him, according to the Civil Guard.
