The Civil Guard of Costa Teguise arrested six people and investigated another for a crime against property, for robbery with force inside a house in Haría. The detainees, aged between 22 and 45 years old, had numerous police records, according to the Civil Guard in a press release. In addition, they would have stolen 14,000 euros in cash and 4,000 more in jewelry

The agents began to investigate following a complaint filed in the offices of the Main Post of Costa Teguise last February. The owner of the house stated then that unknown people had climbed into her property. During the operation they stole cash and jewelry, but also caused damage to a door and disorder inside the house. At the time of the robbery there was no one in the house.

On February 4, the Civil Guard agents gathered the necessary inquiries to clarify the facts. It was then that they located the alleged perpetrators of the crime and recovered the stolen effects. To get to know the possible thieves, the state security forces recovered the testimonies of neighbors and made a "meticulous" viewing of the recordings of video surveillance cameras, according to the note issued from the Body.

After the aforementioned inquiries, they located jewelry that could have been stolen in the robbery. Once they were recognized by their owner, between February 20 and 23, they proceeded to the arrest of six people and one was investigated for their possible involvement in the robbery.

During the investigation, they recovered 4,000 euros in jewelry that were delivered to the complainant. The proceedings together with the detainees were sent to the Guard Court of Arrecife.
