Emerlan has rescued the sailors of three pedal boat vessels that were circulating in the sea in Puerto del Carmen. The lifeguards of the Rescue and Emergency Service in Lanzarote, in charge of controlling the area, had to use their inflatable boat to bring back to land seven bathers who left from Playa Grande.

Given the sea conditions on the island, which is on pre-alert for waves, the sailors were rescued half a mile from the Hotel Fariones, between Playa Grande and Playa Chica because they could not return to the coast on their own.

Of the seven people rescued, one of them had reduced mobility. All the rescued had to be evacuated to the Playa Chica dock.

In addition, the company that owns the pedal boats rescued two other boats.
