Firefighters from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium rescued a dog lost on Mount Ubigue, in Las Cabreras, located between the towns of Tahíche and Nazaret and belonging to the municipality of Teguise, on Thursday night.
The events took place around 9:40 p.m. on Thursday night and a unit from the Central Fire Station moved to the area.
After several hours of searching, they managed to locate the animal in a difficult-to-access area, located on the upper part of the mountain. They proceeded to rescue the dog and subsequently hand it over to the corresponding animal shelter.
Once the intervention was completed, they collected all the information related to the service and sent it to the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES).
The Teguise Local Police were also at the scene, actively collaborating in the search.
