A group of neighbors from Arrecife had to be evacuated from an apartment block on Monday night due to a fire generated in an adjacent plot. Local Police officers from Arrecife evacuated them as a precaution due to smoke entering the building.
After that, firefighters from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium had to intervene in the abandoned house.
The events took place around 10:45 PM on Monday night into Tuesday. The fire originated in belongings and garbage accumulated in this abandoned house on Coronel Bens street. Specifically, at number 39.
Three fire trucks from the Security and Emergency Consortium were dispatched to the scene. Local Police officers from Arrecife joined them.
