A person has had to be rescued by firefighters from a building under construction in Arrecife. The events occurred around 9:15 in the morning this Monday on Doctor Rafael González street, in front of Islas Canarias Park, in Arrecife.
According to information from the Security and Emergency Consortium to La Voz, firefighters were alerted that an employee had fallen down the stairwell of the building under construction and suffered a severe blow to the back.
This person had to be rescued by the firefighters using a rescue vehicle with an articulated arm from the second floor of the building.
Also at the scene were two ambulances from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), one of them a basic life support and another an advanced life support. As well as the Arrecife Local Police.
The affected person has been evacuated to be evaluated by the health services.
