The person that all the emergency teams were looking for this Tuesday in Punta de Los Ancones, in Costa Teguise, has managed to get out of the water on his own, as confirmed to La Voz by the Civil Guard. He is a native of Lanzarote, who did not even require health care.
A fisherman had given notice to 112 about 12.30 hours. It reported that a man was picking limpets in this area, when he fell into the sea. Given this alert, the Coordinating Center for Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands has activated all the necessary emergency resources to search for this person.
The helicopter of the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) has moved to the scene, which has combed the entire coastline, as well as an Emerlan boat and the Salvamar of Maritime Rescue. Agents of the Consortium of Security and Emergencies of Lanzarote, Local Police of Teguise, Civil Protection and Civil Guard have also been mobilized.
Finally everything has been a scare, since the Lanzarote native has managed to get out of the water without the help of the emergency teams and has not required health care, as indicated by 112.
