The Security and Emergency Consortium acted on the morning of this Sunday, March 22, after receiving an alert from CECOES due to the presence of a stranded cetacean on the coast of Puerto del Carmen.
Once at the scene, the deployed officers confirmed that the animal was lifeless, stranded on the rocks. Shortly after, a team of technicians from the Cabildo moved to the area and took over the management of the situation, so direct intervention by the Consortium was not necessary.
After confirming that the case remained in the hands of the specialists, the personnel communicated the completion of the service both to the Fire Department headquarters and to CECOES, subsequently returning to their base.
