A fire that broke out in the early hours of this Monday, April 6, in a dwelling located on Salinas street, in Puerto del Carmen, mobilized personnel from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, with the participation of units from the Central and South parks.

The alert was received at 1:34 hours, activating a level 2 operation with the intervention of vehicles Bravo 5, Bravo 10, and Bravo 2. During the displacement to the location, the personnel were informed that there was no one inside the property.

Upon their arrival, firefighters confirmed that the fire was totally generalized. To begin the extinguishing efforts, they proceeded to deploy five sections of 28-millimeter hose, due to the existing distance between the truck and the dwelling. Shortly after, reinforcement from Parque Sur joined, both teams working in a coordinated manner until they managed to extinguish the flames.

Once the fire was extinguished, the personnel proceeded to disconnect the fuse of the dwelling. Inside, an electric scooter affected by the fire was detected, which was removed and transferred to the Central Park.

Once the extinguishing and securing tasks were completed, the firefighters accessed the property along with the tenant, who was able to collect some personal belongings. Subsequently, the apartment was cordoned off and the service was concluded.
