Police officers evacuated the residents of some apartments due to the fire of a restaurant on the blaja floor in Playa Blanca, according to what the Emergency Consortium has reported.
The incident took place at approximately 00:35 hours this Saturday, April 18, on Limones street in the tourist town.
Fortunately, the incident remained a scare thanks to a citizen who was passing through the area and saw smoke coming out through the door of the premises and quickly alerted CECOES.
The firefighters accessed the restaurant with the help of the owner and confirmed that the fire had probably started due to an electrical fault in the dishwasher area of the bar. The personnel extinguished the flames that burned part of the establishment's furniture.
