A passenger on flight LS3201 of the company Jet2 that connected Liverpool with Lanzarote had to be attended to by the health services upon landing at the island's airport on September 4 after suffering seizures in mid-flight, as reported by Air Controllers on their X profile.
When the plane was arriving in Lanzarote, the crew notified the control tower of the situation of a passenger, who was suffering seizures and needed urgent medical attention.
Following this, from the Enaire control center, they proceeded to shorten the approach as much as possible to the plane and authorized them to maintain high speed. In addition, they diverted air traffic ahead to speed up the maneuver.
Also, during the approach, the control tower coordinated with the airport for medical assistance on the ground.
