The accident occurred around 10:30 a.m. this Sunday, and after the fall, due to the terrain's orography and the complicated access to the place where the injured man, a 36-year-old foreigner, was located, it was necessary for the G.E.S. Helicopter to act, which rescued the injured man and later transferred him to a safe area where the emergency services were located.
SUC personnel went to the scene of the incident, providing initial health care and later transferring the injured man in an emergency ambulance to the General Hospital of Lanzarote.
The Civil Guard was in charge of instructing the appropriate procedures.
