Emergency services rescued a paraglider who had an accident in the area of the cliff at La Cantería beach, in Órzola, at around 11:00 AM this Tuesday, according to the CECOES.
Specifically, the 60-year-old German paraglider fell from a height of about 20 meters and suffered multiple injuries, as confirmed by Emerlan. For the rescue, the CECOES activated the GES helicopter.
Two ambulances also arrived at the scene, one basic life support from the SUC and another advanced life support, Emerlan, Civil Protection, firefighters from the Consortium of Emergencies, and agents from the Local Police of Haría.
