Francis Machín, brother of the mayor of Tinajo, died on Monday night in a work accident in Masdache. According to La Voz, he apparently tripped while carrying out an installation and his lifeless body was found on Tuesday morning.
Francis Machín was an electrician by profession, he was 43 years old, married and had a 7-year-old son. In addition to being the mayor's brother, Francis was the uncle of regional parliamentarian Jesús Machín and the councilor of the Cabildo and general secretary of the Canary Coalition in Lanzarote, Migdalia Machín, who was unable to attend the Plenary session held by the Corporation this Tuesday due to this tragic event.
