A man has been injured this Monday morning after an accident between a truck and a car on the LZ-34 road that connects San Bartolomé and Tahíche, according to the Emergency Coordination Center (CECOES).
The incident took place around 08:47, when the 112 received a call alerting them to the collision, so emergency services quickly moved to the scene.
Once at the scene, firefighters from the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium secured the crashed vehicle and extricated the injured person.
Afterwards, health personnel assessed and treated the injured person, who presented with moderate multiple contusions, and was transferred by a SUC medicalized ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
Civil Guard agents also attended the scene and were responsible for drawing up the corresponding report.
