One person was injured and had to be taken by ambulance following a traffic accident that occurred this Saturday, January 3, at 12:29 PM, in the vicinity of the Conil teleclub, in the municipality of Tías.
According to the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, the alert was received through the CECOES regarding a collision between two vehicles. As a consequence of the impact, one of the cars overturned on the roadway, while the second went off the road.
Officers from the Security and Emergency Consortium, as well as the Local Police of Tías, the Civil Guard, and the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) were dispatched to the scene.
Emergency teams intervened to control a fuel spill, disconnect the batteries of the vehicles involved, and remove one of them to a safe area, as it was obstructing traffic.
Police officers were in charge of regulating traffic and carrying out the corresponding procedures
