A 49-year-old man has been injured after his car overturned at the entrance roundabout to Arrecife, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The accident occurred at 02.18 hours in the morning on Manolo Millares street, when CECOES was alerted. Local Police officers, firefighters and a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service were dispatched to the scene.
Firefighters had to extricate the driver who had been trapped inside the vehicle by cutting the roof. Once out of the vehicle he was transferred to the SUC ambulance to be evacuated to the Molina Orosa Hospital presenting moderate multiple contusions.
For its part, the Local Police have instructed the corresponding proceedings.
