One person has died after falling into the sea from a boat that capsized in the early hours of this Wednesday while heading to Lanzarote, as reported by the Lanzarote Emergency Consortium.
There were about 45 people on board, including 34 men, 10 women and a child. Apparently, ten of the occupants have fallen into the sea and have been rescued.
Of the ten migrants who have fallen into the sea, one has died and seven have suffered hypothermia and dehydration, two of them are in critical condition.
The Red Cross has explained that 10 people, including a child, have been transferred to the José Molina Orosa Hospital and that another seven are currently missing due to the capsizing of the boat.
