The early morning of this Tuesday, July 29, has been a lot of work for the firefighters since they burned up to nine containers in the Altavista neighborhood in Arrecife, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
The first action took place at 3.19 am on Palma de Mallorca street. It was the fire of four organic waste containers that were burning in their entirety, also affecting a light pole near the fire. The firefighters extinguished the flames with water using the quick-response hose.
An hour later, the emergency teams were required for another fire on Guillermo Topham street. Once on the scene, the firefighters found that it was a fire of three containers that were burning in their entirety, two for the use of organic waste and one for recycling used clothing, the latter being made of metal can be recovered for use.
Finally, at 4:57 a.m., the Emergency Consortium was alerted by the Local Police of another fire on Blasco Ibáñez street. In this case, a garbage container was burning and was quickly extinguished.
The Local Police collaborated in all the actions with the firefighters.
