Firefighters put out a fire in a container in Arrecife early this Friday morning. As reported by the Security and Emergency Consortium, the fire occurred at around 2.53 am on Dolores Ibárruri street, in the capital of Lanzarote.
Alerted by the CECOES, the emergency teams approached the area to extinguish the fire in a glass recycling container. Upon arrival, a neighbor was trying to put out the flames with a hose from his home.
The recycling container has been completely destroyed and another organic waste container has been affected, although it is still operational.
In addition, agents of the National Police have also traveled to the place.
