Maritime Rescue rescued around 10:45 p.m. this Sunday a boat with 53 people near the coasts of Lanzarote. Among the occupants there are 40 men, three women and 10 minors.

The immigrants, of sub-Saharan origin, were transferred to Puerto Naos (Arrecife), where they arrived around 1:00 a.m. and were assisted by the Red Cross. A device that had 17 volunteers and two ambulances. National and Local Police, Civil Guard and firefighters also attended.

According to what they have indicated from the Security and Emergency Consortium, all the occupants of the boat were afebrile and in good health. The immigrants reported having left from Tan-Tan (Morocco) two days ago.

The arrival of this boat is added to the arrival in the early morning on Sunday to La Graciosa and the three arrivals between Wednesday and Friday of last week to Arrecife, Órzola and La Santa.
