A 48-year-old man was affected this Tuesday after suffering an incomplete drowning at Playa Dorada, in Playa Blanca, according to the Emergency Coordination Center (CECOES).

The incident took place around 2:11 PM, when 112 received a call from the lifeguard alerting that a man had been rescued from the sea with symptoms of drowning.

After that, a medicalized ambulance and another basic life support ambulance quickly traveled to the scene.

Once at the scene, the health personnel assessed and assisted the affected person, who had received initial attention from the lifeguard. At the initial moment of assistance, the man presented symptoms of moderate incomplete drowning, so he was transferred by a basic life support ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
