The lifeless body of a 62-year-old man was found floating around 09:00 hours this Saturday in one of the docks of the Marina Lanzarote pier, in Arrecife, as reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies (CECOES).
The CECOES received a call reporting the location of a person unresponsive to stimuli floating in the water next to one of the docks.
Following this, the necessary emergency resources were immediately dispatched to the scene, including a medical ambulance. When the SUC (Canary Emergency Service) medical personnel arrived, they could only confirm the man's death.
Firefighters from the Emergency Consortium and agents from the National Police also went to the scene. The latter have been in charge of carrying out the corresponding procedures.
