A man was injured on Thursday afternoon after falling from a height of approximately five meters at the Hotel Natura Palace, located in Playa Blanca, in the municipality of Yaiza.
The Emergency Coordination Center mobilized security and emergency resources at approximately 4:34 PM. Security and Emergency Consortium personnel from Lanzarote and La Graciosa, along with two ambulances from the Canary Islands Emergency Service, one Basic Life Support (SVB) and another Advanced Life Support (SVA), as well as agents from the Guardia Civil and Local Police, were dispatched to the scene.
Upon the arrival of the firefighters, the injured man was already being attended to by medical personnel. After being stabilized, he was evacuated to the Doctor José Molina Orosa University Hospital to receive medical assistance.
According to the Security and Emergency Consortium of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, the firefighters' intervention was ultimately not necessary, as the situation was under control by the health services.
