National Police agents have arrested a 35-year-old man in Arrecife, with no prior police record, as the alleged perpetrator of a threat offense.
The events unfolded after a man called the 091 telephone number reporting that a fight was taking place on a street in Arrecife during which a firearm had been displayed.
National Police agents went to the scene and interviewed several neighbors, who stated that moments before, another neighbor of the building had threatened, by firing a gun, the driver of a vehicle with whom he was having an argument.
Apparently, the reason for the disagreement was the excessive use of the horn to warn and have a friend come out whom he had come to pick up.
After locating the individual, they proceeded to seize the blank firing gun and 10 spent cartridges, and he was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a threat offense.
After drawing up the corresponding police report, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the competent Judicial Authority.
The police intervention was carried out by agents from the Arrecife Police Station.
