The disappearance of a minor in the Playa Mujeres area, in Playa Blanca, mobilized this Friday a broad search operation by land, sea, and air, which concluded with his location in perfect health.
As reported by the Consortium of Security and Emergencies of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, the alert was received at 6:48 p.m. through the CECOES, which warned of the minor's disappearance, which occurred approximately two hours earlier.
After the activation of the operation, several resources and the Consortium's drone unit were deployed to the site. Upon arrival, the personnel maintained contact with the minor's parents to gather all available information about the circumstances of the disappearance and immediately initiated a land and sea search operation.
During the intervention, personnel from the Guardia Civil, the Local Police, and the MI21 helicopter joined, supporting the aerial search efforts, coordinating the actions of all participating resources.
Finally, the minor was located by a ground team in perfect health and accompanied to the place where his relatives were. After an initial assessment, it was confirmed that he did not require medical assistance.
