The firefighters of the Consortium of Security and Emergencies of Lanzarote and La Graciosa intervened this Monday, around 7:55 p.m., in a pharmacy located on Avenida de las Playas in Puerto del Carmen, after the main door of the establishment became blocked.
According to the Consortium, the Local Police of Tías requested the presence of the personnel upon finding several clients unable to leave the premises, while other people also could not access the establishment.
Once on site, the firefighters worked in coordination with the pharmacy staff to dismantle the door mechanism. The action allowed it to be unblocked and opened without causing damage to the installation.
After resolving the incident, the personnel reported the completion of the service to the fire department central and CECOES 112, subsequently returning to the station. The Local Police of Tías secured the area and collaborated throughout the intervention.
