A woman was rescued this Sunday after suffering an accident on El Risco de Famara beach, according to the Emergency Consortium.
Apparently, there was a landslide near the beach and some rocks fell on her leg, causing an open wound.
Once alerted by the CECOES, rescuers traveled by jet ski from La Graciosa. Upon arrival, emergency personnel found that the affected woman had a wound on her right shin.
After protecting the wound with gauze and bandages, they transferred her by jet ski to the port of Órzola, where a basic ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service was waiting for her, which took care of her assistance and subsequent transfer to a health center.
