A man was slightly injured this past Tuesday after suffering a fall in a rocky area of Charco de La Condesa, in the northern town of Órzola, according to the Emergency Consortium.

The events occurred around 9:50 PM, when the 112 received a call alerting them of what had happened. Due to the injured person being in an area of difficult access, firefighters went to the scene with a B5 vehicle to collaborate in the rescue of the person.

Upon arrival, the affected person was being attended to and stabilized by the healthcare personnel of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC). After assessing the situation, the emergency responders collaborated with the healthcare services and the Local Police of Haría in the mobilization, carrying, and evacuation of the patient from the area where they were to an accessible and safe point for the ambulance.

After that, he was transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital in a basic life support ambulance from the SUC.
