This Sunday, May 3, a new rescue has occurred in Caldera Blanca. The accident took place around 2:10 PM when the Coordination and Emergency Center received a call alerting that a hiker had suffered a fall.
Agents of the Local Police, Civil Guard, firefighters, Civil Protection and the GES helicopter have moved to the location.
Once the officers located the affected person, who had a fracture in one leg, they stabilized her until the helicopter arrived.
The firefighters have transferred her to the helicopter and she is evacuated to the firefighters' base in the Consortium in Arrecife. There, a basic life support ambulance from the Canary Emergency Service has taken her to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
