A person has suffered a traffic accident by overturning their vehicle on the LZ-2, at the entrance to Playa Honda, in San Bartolomé. Upon the arrival of the Emergency teams and the Civil Guard, the driver of the vehicle had left the scene, so there was no one in the vicinity.
The events occurred around 00:45 hours in the early morning on this road in Lanzarote. The Consortium of Security and Emergencies reported on Tuesday morning that they were alerted by the Coordination Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES) about this incident, so they moved to the scene.
Once in the area, Civil Guard agents were also present. There they confirmed that only one vehicle was involved in the traffic accident, which was overturned on its roof, with no occupants or people in the immediate vicinity.
After receiving authorization from the agents of the Local Police of San Bartolomé, they proceeded to clean the roadway, removing dirt, glass fragments, and other elements from the vehicle.
Likewise, the vehicle was turned over, placing it back on its wheels. During the intervention, they were alerted to a container fire in Arrecife, so they moved to attend to that service. Once finished, we returned to the scene of the accident.
