Four people were injured to varying degrees in the collision of two vehicles on the LZ-40 road in Puerto del Carmen. The accident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. this Tuesday, when CECOES was notified.
Agents from the Civil Guard, Local Police, two SUC ambulances, Civil Protection, Boluntis, and the Emergency Consortium were dispatched to the scene.
Firefighters, assisted by Boluntis, had to extricate the occupants of the two vehicles. First, they removed the driver and sole occupant of one of the cars, and then they assisted paramedics in extracting the people who were traveling in the other vehicle.
Once outside, they were attended to by healthcare personnel. Two men, aged 30 and 35, had serious femur fractures and were transported by medical ambulance to Molina Orosa. And a 75-year-old woman and a 79-year-old man had moderate multiple contusions and were transported by basic life support ambulance to the Molina Orosa Hospital.
Local Police and Civil Guard were in charge of regulating traffic and carrying out the corresponding report.
