The fog has caused incidents at the César Manrique airport. This Saturday morning there have been delays, cancellations and flight diversions due to low visibility, as reported by Aena.

Up to 16 flights have had to be diverted to other airports. Specifically to Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Tenerife Norte and Tenerife Sur.

The Emergency Consortium reports that it is expected to be operational again in one hour.

Around 10 in the morning, the Lanzarote aerodrome has returned to operation and it is expected that normality will be restored throughout the day.
