The firefighters arrived at approximately 08:00 this Saturday on León y Castillo street in Arrecife to cordon off the area after the fall of a large stone onto the sidewalk, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
When the officers arrived, they verified that it was a piece of stone that had broken off from the facade of an abandoned building and that, according to reports from the Consortium, almost fell on a woman who was passing by that sidewalk.
Due to the risk of new detachments towards the public road, the firefighters and Local Police officers marked the area with fences.
