Firefighters from the Security and Emergency Consortium had to intervene on Sunday night due to a boat that had broken loose from its mooring due to the storm and was in the area of the Puente de las Bolas hitting the wall.
Arriving at the scene after being alerted by the Cecoes around 9:50 p.m., the firefighters managed to pass a rope to the boat and move it away from the wall where it was hitting to tie it "where it received fewer blows." For this, they were helped by the Salvamar skipper, who appeared at the scene.
The firefighters also had to go in the afternoon to tie an electric cable that had come loose on Virgen de la Peña street in Arrecife. With the help of the auto ladder, the firefighters held the hanging cable, securing it with flanges.
