Firefighters extinguished the fire that occurred in the Morromar apartments in Matagorda in the tourist town of
Puerto del Carmen. According to the Emergency Consortium, once alerted by the Cecoes, they went to the place and verified that the fire occurred in the light room.
"We verified that the maintenance staff had tried to extinguish it with several powder extinguishers, with visible flames still remaining, so we proceeded to extinguish it with a Co2 extinguisher and ended the service," explain from the Emergency Consortium.
