Firefighters put out a vehicle fire in Arrecife in the early hours of the morning, according to the Emergency Consortium.
The fire took place at around 2:00 a.m. this Tuesday on Peñas del Chache street in the capital of Lanzarote. Local Police officers and firefighters have moved to the scene.
When the emergency teams arrived, they found that the vehicle was completely on fire. The fire also affected the facade of a house and a nearby tree.
The firefighters extinguished the flames of the vehicle and the top of the tree, which was starting to burn. In addition, due to the proximity of the flames, the window of a commercial premises, the sign and part of the facade of a building have been affected by the fire.
Finally, several homes located on the upper floors have been ventilated because smoke had entered their interior.
