Firefighters extinguished a fire that occurred in an abandoned house on Calle El Salvador in 
Arrecife. The event took place at approximately 9:30 p.m. this Tuesday. Once the firefighters of the Emergency Consortium were alerted, they went to the scene.
According to them, "we verified that the fire was on the second floor of the house and affected mattresses and furniture in two rooms." "We extinguished the flames with water and then ventilated the rooms, thus ending the service," they report.
