A moving van caught fire on the LZ-40 road in Puerto del Carmen, as reported by the Emergency Consortium.
The incident took place around 7 in the morning this Saturday, September 19, when the driver of the vehicle noticed smoke starting to come out, so he stopped and was able to get out unharmed.
Firefighters and Local Police officers were dispatched to the scene. The police officers were in charge of regulating traffic and carried out the corresponding report.
The firefighters extinguished the flames with water and flooded the compartment with foam to ensure a complete extinction.
