Burn completely two mopeds in Playa Blanca this Wednesday

The firefighters of the Lanzarote Security and Emergencies Consortium extinguished the fire on La Molina street after being alerted by CECOES; the area was secured by the Civil Guard and Local Police.

Two mopeds were completely burned on the night of this Wednesday, March 4, on La Molina street, in Playa Blanca, in the municipality of Yaiza.

According to the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, the alert was received at 22:17 hours through CECOES, which reported a fire affecting several motorcycles in the aforementioned area.

Upon their arrival, firefighters found agents of the Civil Guard and Local Police who were already at the scene, protecting the perimeter to guarantee safety.

The personnel verified that the fire affected two mopeds that were burning in their entirety. The firefighters proceeded to the extinction of the flames by means of the application of water.

Once the fire was extinguished, it was verified that there were no risks of re-ignition nor other dangers in the area, so the service was considered finished and the personnel subsequently returned to base.
