Firefighters from the Consortium of Security and Emergencies of Lanzarote have smothered the flames of a fire in the Papagayo Shopping Center of Playa Blanca, in Yaiza.
The events date back to 6:30 in the morning. Alerted by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES), the Firefighters went to the place due to the fire of an electrical panel in the commercial establishment.
Upon arrival, agents of the local Police and the Civil Guard were in the area. After locating the incident in a wooden stall outside a premises, they extinguished the flames with water and foam. Then, they have verified that there were no possibilities that the fire would reactivate and finished the service.
