A 30-year-old man died this past Sunday in Lanzarote. The events occurred in a residential area in the coastal town of Playa Blanca, in the municipality of Yaiza, after a fight involving the deceased and his 25-year-old roommate.
Sources familiar with the case have told La Voz that the events occurred around 4:00 PM in the Jardín de Yaiza urbanization, in Playa Blanca.
Both the alleged aggressor, 25 years old, and the victim were roommates in this property. The hypothesis being considered by the police is that both got into a fight with bladed weapons inside the home.
Both ended up injured, one of them died shortly after arriving at the hospital, while the second is injured but out of danger.
The case investigating the death of the 30-year-old is being processed by the courts and is in the hands of the Guardia Civil.
