The Emerlan Lanzarote team traveled to Tenerife this weekend to provide support in the BlueTrail mountain race. The area that the emergency personnel had to cover was the one known as Pico Viejo, which was 3,400 meters high, according to the rescue service.
The emergency personnel carried out four interventions, in which the rescued were evacuated to the cable car area to receive medical assistance and evacuation.
According to the Rescue and Emergency Service, the team, which was made up of four rescuers and a nurse, approached the island to help as a rescue group in Teide.
