A 42-year-old man was injured this Thursday in a spectacular accident on the LZ-505 road in Puerto del Carmen. Two vehicles were involved in the accident and one of them ended up overturned on the roof, while the other crashed into the protective fence of the road.
Personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service went to the scene, although only one person required medical assistance and only had minor injuries.
According to the Security and Emergency Consortium, both drivers were able to get out of the cars on their own. Upon arriving at the accident site, the firefighters were in charge of marking the area, turning the overturned vehicle over and cleaning the road.
For their part, the Local Police and Civil Guard officers who also went to the scene were in charge of regulating traffic and carrying out the appropriate procedures.
