A man suffered minor injuries this Thursday after a vehicle overturned on Camino Hoya Limpia, in the Puerto del Carmen area, within the municipality of Tías. The accident occurred around 7:17 PM, according to the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium.
The Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) warned that the car had overturned on its side and its sole occupant remained trapped inside. Personnel from the Southern Park, unit Bravo 2, Local Police, and an ambulance from the Canary Emergency Services (SUC) were dispatched to the scene.
Upon the firefighters' arrival, the Local Police and medical personnel were already attending to the injured person inside the ambulance. Once they received police authorization, the firefighters proceeded to right the vehicle.
