A 50-year-old cyclist of German nationality was injured this Friday in a collision with a vehicle at the Playa Quemada roundabout in the municipality of Yaiza, as reported by CECOES.

The accident took place at 10:58 hours when the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) was alerted.

Two ambulances, one medicalized and one basic life support from the Canary Emergency Service and an agent of the Civil Guard, have traveled to the scene.

The health personnel assisted the injured person who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented a moderate head trauma. After being stabilized, he was transferred to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.

For its part, the Civil Guard has taken charge of the corresponding report.
