A Jet2 flight from the English city of Liverpool requested an ambulance at the foot of the plane on August 17 to attend to a crew member who felt unwell in mid-flight, as published by Air Controllers on their X profile.
Following the request, the control tower at César Manrique-Lanzarote Airport cut the approach as much as possible while coordinating with the aerodrome itself for medical attention on the ground.
Upon landing, the paramedics attended to the crew member. Also, from Air Controllers they wished a speedy recovery to the affected person.
